Agnetha Faltskog

Although she has made a name for herself as a solo performer and performer in Sweden, Agnetha Faltskog will always be remembered as the 'ABBA' member which is one of the most popular and commercially profitable pop bands ever. The singer quit school to pursue music when she was fifteen and quickly gained popularity. She was able to secure a recording contract with Enghardt, and her debut hit the Swedish charts. She became engaged and later became married to Bjorn Ulvaeus. She then joined 'ABBA'. ABBA would go on to become one of the most popular group of pop in the world over the course of eight years. They received numerous awards such as platinum and gold around the world. She released three albums after ABBA which included 'Wrap Your Arms Around Me,"Eyes of a Girl', and I Stand Alone,' that were each extremely successful in Sweden, and also gained the attention of Europe and the U.K., however, not so in the U.S. The music of ABBA was featured as the theme of a jukebox musical called "Mamma Mia!. Her album 'My Coloring Book that peaked at No. 11 on the charts in the United Kingdom it was made after she stepped out of retirement.
