Emily Mortimer

  

Emily Kathleen Anne Mortimer was born 6 October 1971. She is an American of English descent. actress. She started her stage acting career and has appeared in various roles on film and television. In recognition of her performance in Lovely and Amazing, she was awarded an Independent Spirit Award. Mackenzie McHale is her other significant role in The Newsroom, which was broadcast on HBO from 2013 to 2015. She also co-created and directed Doll & Em (2014–2015) as well as The Pursuit of Love (2021).



 



 She was the voice of Sophie in the English version of the film in English. Moving Castle (2004).
